Fountain of Life
Pastor Jonathan Stephens
Fountain of Life has sold their building on South Avenue in preparation for building a new ministry center on Valley Drive. We're pleased that they have agreed to share our space while they raise the necessary funding for their new building, and join in cooperative outreach and programs. They worship in our building on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Pastor Stephens can be seen every Thursday at 6:30 pm on cable television channel 10.
You can also hear him, along with Pastor James Pertillar, daily on 1540 AM, "The Pastors of the Air" Radio Show.
Other ministries include a program for YARD kids, (Youth At Risk of Destruction), for youth who are at odds with parents, the law, or school. For more information please contact Pastor Stephens by email: PastorSteph@aol.com
Refuge Temple

While renovating their new building on South Salina Street, Pastor Jones and his congregation are worshipping in our building on Sunday mornings at 9:30 as well as a Wednesday night Bible study. OVEC Food Pantry
A joint outreach service of the churches in the Valley (Atonement Lutheran, St. Andrews Episcopal, St. James Roman Catholic, St. Pauls United Methodist, and Onondaga Valley Presbyterian), the Onondaga Valley Ecumenical Council Food Pantry has served families in need since the late '80s. Each year we provide over 26,000 meals and serve over 1250 households, with more than 1500 children and 250 seniors receiving food regularly. The Food Pantry is generally open Saturday mornings, but please check the calendar page to comfirm. We are a participant in the Interreligious Food Consortium, which coordinates Food Pantries throughout Syracuse.
InterReligious Council
The InterReligious Council of Central New York is an organization of various religious bodies which covenant to foster community through interreligious and interracial action, ministry, education and dialogue.
Habitat For Humanity
OVPC is a covenanting church in the Syracuse Habitat For Humanity. Habitat For Humanity builds and or refurnishes homes for low income families.
Vera House
It is the mission of Vera House, Inc. to enable and empower women in crisis and their families to live safe, self-sufficient lives through the provision of direct service, promotion of community awareness, and advocacy for system level change, with a particular focus on the issue of domestic violence. We at OVPC have been a part of their white ribbon campaign for over five years and believe that Vera House offers a much-needed service to the women and children of our community.
Vanderkamp Center
Vanderkamp Center is year round camp and retreat center. This year's summer camp program promises to be a great time of fun, faith, and friends for children of all ages. Click on the link for more information and to sign-up for camp!
Covenant Network
We are also a member of the Covenant Nework of Presbyterians, a group that is dedicated to peace and unity in the Presbyterian Church during a time when many issues threaten to divide and alienate.
