Rev. Beth H. DuBois

A 1989 graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, Princeton, NJ, Beth was ordained as the Associate Pastor of Community Presbyterian Church, Chester, NJ. Her responsibilities centered on education, outreach, youth ministry, general pastoral duties and the Board of Deacons.

Prior to entering Princeton, Beth was an active youth leader in several churches, a Volunteer in Mission in Alaska, and worked in international operations at Chase Manhattan Bank. She graduated from Franklin and Marshall College with a BA in English in 1981.

Beth enjoys books, movies, theater, good conversation, folk music and softball. On mission trips, she's often roofing or doing the dishes.

In 1997, Beth was called to snowy Syracuse, New York as the pastor of OVPC. Beth has implemented a yearly Work Camp with the youth of the congregation, this summer's being the fifth. She has introduced the congregation to different styles of worship, including Taize, Iona Community and folk guitar. Her preaching style is engaging and thought-provoking and challenges the congregation to fulfill their calling as disciples of Christ. Beth is currently serving as the chair of Mission and Strategy Committee of the Presbytery. She is a founding member and former Vice President of ACTS (Alliance of Communities Transforming Syracuse).
